Course objectives
The course is devoted mainly for students of the geology (master program). It follows the main goal to present them a special knowledge of the important geological units in the Moravia.

  • Moravian Neogene in the Paratethys Basin System (stratigraphy, paleogeography, sedimentology, tectonics)
  • Neogene troughs in the Flysch Belt
  • Vienna Basin
  • Carpathian Foredeep
  • Pliocene of the Hornomoravský úval Depression
  • Relicts of Neogene sediments on the Bohemian Massif
