Course objectives
The course is devoted to students of magisterial study of the subject Geology. Its aim is to present the basic methods of the statistic evaluation of paleontological material.

  • Mathematical statistics and general principles of its use in paleontology & Quantification of paleontological data & One-dimensional statistic methods & Graphic expression of results & Relations among parameters & More-dimensional statistic methods & Trends of temporal changes & Biostratigraphic applications of mathematical statistics & Paleoecological applications of mathematical statistics & Rightness analysis of the results & Possible faults and thei elimination
