Course objectives
Lectures by Professor Andrew R. Leitch, Queen Mary University London, U.K. Topics to be covered: 1. The causes and consequences of polyploidy and aneuploidy 2. Recently formed polyploid plant species 3. Polyploidy in crop species 4. Evolution of mammalian karyotypes 5. C-value paradox Lectures will take place in a week from 19 to 23 March 2007.
