Course objectives
To understand taxonomy of cyanobacteria;
To work with information on chemotaxonomy and molecular biology methods of cyanobacteria;
To interpret genetic analysis of cyanobacteria;
To make reasoned decisions about cyanobacterial picoplankton;
To interpret phylogeny of cyanobacteria;
To make reasoned decisions about molecular regulation of carbon dioxide and nitrogen metabolism;
To explain fuction of photosystem I of cyanobacteria;
To understand the mechanisms of differentiation of heterocytes and hormogonia;
