- We shall discuss basic concepts of Finsler geometry, generalizing the Riemannian geometry, essentially based on examples and glimpses towards nice applications.

- The participants of this advanced-level course will get acquainted with the geometric approach to practical problems exploiting the Finsler geometry.

- After several weeks of introduction to basic concepts, the course will develop according to the interests of the participants.
