Course objectives (in Czech)
We shall discuss basic concepts of Finsler geometry, generalizing the Riemannian geometry, essentially based on examples and glimpses towards nice applications.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
The participants of this advanced-level course will get acquainted with the geometric approach to practical problems exploiting the Finsler geometry.

  • After several weeks of introduction to basic concepts, the course will develop according to the interests of the participants.
