- Course objectives
- The goal of the subject is to develop students' skills in the field of micro-world physics by solving more challenging problems.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will gain practice in solving problems from the physics of the micro-world and molecular physics, as well as the ability to tackle more complex problems. Calculations that led to significant results within the framework of the so-called old quantum theory will be discussed. The outcome will be the strengthening of students' physical thinking.
- Syllabus
- Note that the syllabus does not follow the syllabus of the course F4050 Introduction to the Physics of the Micro-world, but expands the topic by solving more advanced problems. Special attention will be given, for example, to black body radiation, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, molecular physics, etc.
