Abstract
The goal of the subject is to develop students' skills in the field of micro-world physics by solving more challenging problems.
Learning outcomes
Students will gain practice in solving problems from the physics of the micro-world and molecular physics, as well as the ability to tackle more complex problems. Calculations that led to significant results within the framework of the so-called old quantum theory will be discussed. The outcome will be the strengthening of students' physical thinking.
Key topics
Note that the syllabus does not follow the syllabus of the course F4050 Introduction to the Physics of the Micro-world, but expands the topic by solving more advanced problems. Special attention will be given, for example, to black body radiation, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, molecular physics, etc.
