e-Atlas of Clinical Embryology

This atlas is an e-learning material primarily dedicated to students of the Embryologist in Health Education program, Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University.

It contains a collection of previously unpublished photographs and videos of human oocytes and early embryos created by in vitro fertilization.

The goal of this work is to show the morphological variability of female germ cells and embryos and capture dynamics of the pre-implantation development.

Thanks to the clinics Reprofit International (Brno) and IVF clinic (Olomouc) for providing the image material used.
