First homework
Write a short essay (max. 1 page) on the topic of quality of life:
- What is your quality of life definition? What do you imagine if anybody says quality of life?
- What does it mean for you?
Do not search the definitions in the literature and in the internet as well.
Just think about that and try to write your ongoing ideas (like freewriting, however with corrections).

Please insert this essay in .doc form into odevzdavarna, folder seminar_1 on Monday 4th at the latest!
Task to next lesson
Prepare a talk about the relationship between geography and quality of life.
Try to answer on these questions:
- How can you look at quality of life as a geographer?
- What is the geographical definition of quality of life?
- What quality of life aspects are you interested in (of course, as geographer)?
- How could the geography be useful in sight of quality of life?
- What is the importance of geography in the research on quality of life?
- What are the key questions of the research on the quality of life for geographers?
Do not afraid if you do not know answers, but try to use your present knowledge to think what geographical aspects are included in QoL concept...
