OVERVIEW OF CREDIT TASKS AND DEADLINES:

1. Poster presentation
You will present a poster in a team on a controversial topic or a global challenge related to your field of study.
Deadline: Weeks 12 & 13
Points: 45 
Pass mark: 21

2. Summary
You will write a summary of one of your poster sources.
Deadline: Week 5
Word range: 250-300 words
Points: 20
Pass mark: 12

3. Academic email
You will write a formal email to an expert on the topic of your poster or an author of one of your sources.
You will explain the purpose of your email, ask a question relating to your poster and schedule a consultation.
Deadline: end of Week 7
Word range: 150-200 words
Points: 15
Pass mark: 9

Taks with a score lower than 60 % need to be improved and resubmitted by Week 13.

4. Mid-term mock exam test + mid-term reflection 
You will take an ONLINE mock exam test to see how you are progressing and to familiarise yourself with the B1 exam test format. Following the test, you will complete a self-evaluation form to reflect on your progress.
Deadline: end of Week 7
Pass mark: N/A

5. Final test + final reflection 
You will take an ONLINE final test to see what you have remembered from the course. After taking the test, you will complete a self-evaluation form to reflect on your progress and achievements.
Deadline: end of Week 14
Pass mark: N/A

Tasks 4 & 5 are unscored, but need to be submitted for a successful course completion.
