AIMS:

Ss will be able to search for information on specialized websites
Ss will be able to share the information with other students in a presentation
Ss will be able to identify the main points of a short video (story/presentation)
Ss will be able to summarize a short video based on their notes
Ss will be able to give their opinion on a problem related to their field
Ss will be able to ask for information in a formal email
Ss will be able to record a video of their favourite activity with children
Ss will be able to ask each other questions about the recorded activity and

respond to them

Students are allowed 2 undocumented absences


ASSESSMENT (PORTFOLIO TASKS):

Website overview (20 points)    2 March + presentation in one of the sessions
Formal email - request for information (12 points)   16 and 23 March 
Video summary (20 points) + Peer feedback (10 points)    6 and 27 April + 13 April
Sharing good practice video (8 points)    4 May + 11 May
Collection of 50 collocations/phrases (10 points)   11 May

Ss need to submit all the assignments and get at least 52 points (65%) for the assignments to be allowed to take the
oral exam. If they do not achieve at least 52 points or do not hand in all the required work, they get an “X”.

Portfolio defence - oral exam (20 points)

Ss need to get at least 13 points to pass the oral exam.
The final mark is given based on all the points Ss acquired during the whole semester.
