Goals & purpose
The purpose of this course is to apply the thoretical knowledge about social-science research methods and design and run a pilot study. The study should be a part of each individual student's doctoral research.
Outcome and credits
The outcome of the course would be a brief-report manuscript. The project will adhere to Open-Science principles meaning it will be preregistered and the materials, data, and analytical scripts will be made available with the script.
Credits will be awarded for manuscript meeting the quality requirements of a peer-reviewed journal. It is not required for the manuscript to be actually submitted to a journal - pilot studies are generally not published.
