AIMS:

•develop and consolidate students' language skills and help them to achieve B1 level in all language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing)
•revise grammar and general vocabulary
•develop some academic skills in English (oral presentation, academic writing, supporting arguments, discussions)
•develop specialist vocabulary focused on special needs terminology

•Sensory Impairments, Physical Impairment and Intellectual Disability, Speech Impairments, Specific Learning Difficulties, Behavioural Disorders, ASD, ADHD

ASSESSMENT (PORTFOLIO OF TASKS):

•Structured CV (3 points)    6 March
•Letter of Motivation (12 points)     13 March  and 3 April
•Presentation – presentation of a webpage (15 points)    Weeks 8-13
•Listening + peer-review (8 + 4 points)   24 April  + 1 May
•Quizlet set (8 points)   8 May

•2 undocumented absences allowed

Students need to submit all the assignments to pass the course.
The passing line is 65% (33 points)
