Practical training is an inseparable part of the study and its culmination. The practical training involves exposure to the classroom as well as getting acquainted with and sometimes even participating in different school activities (such as taking part in school library management under supervision, helping organize practical training and/or leisure-time activities, attending teaching staff meetings where possible, etc.). In this way, students are able to apply all knowledge and skills acquired throughout their study. The practical training also includes feedback from the supervisor – one of the key components of the practical training and a climax of the study in the degree programme. The practical training module is supported with passive participation in classes as a part of the courses in didactics.

The study programme is concluded with the defence of the diploma thesis and by a final state examination.
