- Course objectives
- Introduction to a Pilgrimage Art: history and historiography, architecture, decoration and liturgy.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- critically think about the so-called "pilgrimage art";
- critically think towards historiography of this phenomenon;
- to present the essential monuments that are related to pilgrimage art in today's France between the XIIth and XIIIth s. - Syllabus
