Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to learn about crucial terms of theory of state and constitutional law and also about the structure and functions of modern state beside characterisation of constitution and constitutional law itself and finally, to focus on Bill of Rights in the context of field of study.
Syllabus
  • State and society, state as an institution, public and state power, separation of powers, state territory and population, term of state and its functions, organisation of state, form of state and forms of government, Constitution of the Czech Republic (basic terms), forms of government in the CR, legislation, administration, judiciary and other legal protection, Bill of Rights, constitutional judiciary in the CR.
