Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about the course and the specifics of children's cognition of the world and learning, to acquire a theoretical overview of basic didactic categories and to acquire the basic skills of individual child knowledge management. The student will learn about the meaning of the game and its specifics in pre-school education, game theories, categorization of games and toy types. They learn about the influence of play on child development.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to: to define the specifics of teaching preschool child; understand the content of education; to define teaching method and to specify the criteria for didactically effective method, to acquire the classification of concrete methods; to classify educational instruments and principles; to describe the organizational forms of pre-school education and its importance in the pre-school age   (application of points of general didactics); to use games as an educational form in the kindergarten as fulfillment of educational content with   regard to the specifics of pre-school child development; to explain the theory of games (through different authors points of views); assess the progress of children;

Objectives of current preschool education. 6. Coherence of goals and content of education. 7. Individualization of education. 8. Organization of education. 9. Organizational forms. 10. Educational methods, activation of children. 11. Educational environment. 12. Evaluation of educational results.
