- Course objectives
- Quantitative Economics (KVEK) The subject covers selected parts of economic theory described by more sophisticated mathematical tools. The main stress will be placed on the analysis of productive growth macroeconomic models and on the analysis of economic relations in the field of productive behaviour of the manufacturer and from the environment in which the consumer demand is modelled. The lectures will be complemented by passages from the field of global economic equilibrium, theory of value or by applications of the game theory to economy. The seminars will acquaint students with principal methods of econometrics within the scope of statistical analysis of linear regressive relationship and selected procedures of single-equation models of distributed lags. The lectures will be alternated with the solution of realistic tasks by means of econometric software. Credit requirements: solution of a particular task by means of PC software. Examination: written and oral.
