Course objectives
Students will be inform about basic of healthy nutrition.The course is intended to provide a through understanding of the relationship between nutrition, health and desease.
Syllabus
  • 1. An overview of nutrition. 2. Planning a healthy diet. 3. Energy balance and body composition. 4. Carbohydrates, proteins, Fats. 5. Vitamins, Minerals, Water. 6. Nutrition during pregnancy. 7. Nutrition during lactation. 8. Nutrition during Infancy, childhood. Nutrition during adolescents. 9. Nutrition of older adults. 10. Nutrition and chronic desease. Recommendations for reducing cardiovascular disease risk. 11. Recommendations for reducig risk of hypertension, metabolic syndrom. 12. Recommendation for reducing obesity risk. 13. Recommendation for reducing risk of cancer. 14. Food Additives.
