- - Minimum age of 18 years, with at least 3 years of dance experience in the selected dance style, - Graduate of one of the following programs: dance education – graduate of the ATVA course "Instructor of Dance Techniques"; graduate of the ČASPV (Czech Association of Sport for All) course "Coach Level III"; graduate of at least a secondary school or university with a focus on dance or sports; or holder of the "Dance Sport Coach Level III" certification. - Good health condition

- Course objectives
- The course graduate will acquire: Comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for leading dance classes, organizing training sessions, and preparing participants for competitions. The course focuses on providing a deep understanding of dance techniques and styles, developing pedagogical skills and dance teaching methodology, effective planning and organization of training, basics of sports psychology and physiology, and knowledge of the rules and organization of dance competitions. Emphasis is placed on the practice of dance techniques and choreography, leading classes and training sessions, working with music and rhythm, working with individuals as well as groups of different age categories, first aid, and injury prevention. The graduate will be able to demonstrate and explain individual steps, rhythmic patterns, and body movements in specific dance techniques, including characteristic rhythmic elements.
- Learning outcomes
- 1. Professional Knowledge and Understanding Describe and explain the principles and techniques of selected dance styles (e.g., street dance, jazz, disco dance, etc.). Explain the basics of sports physiology and psychology in the context of dance training. Identify the main rules of dance competitions and understand their organizational structure. 2. Pedagogical and Didactic Skills Plan, conduct, and reflect on dance lessons and training sessions for various age groups. Apply appropriate methodological approaches to teaching dance techniques, rhythm, and choreography. Work effectively with individuals and groups, considering their age, performance level, and motivation. 3. Practical Dance Skills Demonstrate and explain basic and advanced dance steps, rhythmic patterns, and body movement techniques. Create and rehearse dance choreographies adapted to the level and needs of a specific group. Work with music and rhythm, including selecting and editing music for dance performances. 4. Organizational and Coaching Competencies Organize and lead training sessions, including preparation for competition performances. Develop a training plan considering age, performance level, competition calendar, and recovery. Ensure a safe training environment, including injury prevention and the provision of basic first aid. 5. Reflection and Professional Development Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching or training and propose adjustments for improvement. Work with motivational elements in the training process and support dancers in their development. Apply the acquired skills in the practice of a dance group leader or instructor.

Battles and Performance (2 hours) 7. Didactics and Methodology of Street Dance 8. Street Dance in the Context of Contemporary Culture and Education --- Learning Outcomes: After completing the course, the student: * recognizes individual street dance styles and their key characteristics, * is able to physically reproduce the basic techniques of the styles, * develops the ability to improvise and express themselves through movement, * understands the cultural and historical context of the origin of street dance, * masters the basics of teaching methodology for the style, * navigates rhythm and groove and can actively use them in dance, * understands the importance of respect, community, and personal growth within the dance circle.

- 1. Theoretical part – scientific foundation: concluded with a final test lasting 60 minutes. 2. Practical part – practice: practical exam, demonstration of lesson leading 3. Final written assignment . Passing criteria for the final exam: 80%. . Course attendance requirement: minimum 80%.

- Theoretical instruction – in case of insufficient attendance, the participant must complete the scientific foundation training in the next scheduled term. Practical instruction – substitution arranged by prior agreement. Examinations – substitution arranged by prior agreement.
