Course objectives
The course is a follow-up of "The Basics of Law"course. It gives the students a deeper insight into the labor issues, employment issues and collective bargaining. It focuses on solving specific problems from the practice. Key aspects are presented to the students by a professional practitioner (expert in labour law and HR)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to: - Know the relevant legal norms. - Develop some essential employment law documents. - Solve some basic employment law problems in practice.
Syllabus
1. Introduction to labour law, employment law and control activities 2. Establishment of the employment relationship, rights and obligations, agreements on work performed outside the employment relationship 3. Changes in the employment relationship, working time, leave, obstacles at work 4. Rewarding 5. Dismissal from employment, breaches of work obligations 6. Employee care, inappropriate behaviour at the workplace 7. Collective bargaining
