- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- An internship is grounded in (superintendent) work at a selected organisation (e.g. Czech TV, Regional Authorities, printed press, meda agencies etc.) by a student. An internship experience provides the student with an opportunity to explore career opportunities while apply-ing knowledge and skills learned in the classroom in the field. The experience also helps students get a clearer sense of what they still need to learn. The length of the internship is optional (although minimum of internship are 4 weeks). Internship may occur during the academic year or during the summer.
- Learning outcomes
- The internship will provide students with the opportunity to: 1) acquire first-hand knowledge about the field of work, 2) explore new professional activities and relationships, 3) apply classroom knowledge and skills to the work environment, 4) experience problems and contributing to solutions in the field, 5) develop and refine oral and written communication skills, and 6) learning by doing.
- Syllabus
- As required by the host institution- the schedule of the practice depends on an agreement with the host institution. Students participate in the activities of the organization, get knowledge about its functioning and internal processes and undertake various tasks related to the institution's core activities.
