Course objectives (in Czech)
Kurz uvádí studující do antropologických a dalších sociálněvědních studií dětství. Studující se seznámí s konceptem dětství a dítěte a jeho variabilitou jak v evropských, tak mimoevropských společnostech. Kurz ukazuje, že dítě a dětství nejsou ani biologické kategorie, ani univerzální a přirozené prvky lidských společností, ale historicky a kulturně podmíněné sociální instituce. Dětství v různých kulturních kontextech budeme zkoumat ve společných diskuzích a seminárních projektech.
