Předpoklady
Students should have minimum knowledge of English corresponding to the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students must write a one-page motivation letter demonstrating their level of English knowledge and explaining their motives for attending the course.

To achieve an understanding of the themes, issues and debates related to important theories and relevant methods of genre analysis.
To be able to recognize and correctly identify the characteristic features of specific media genres and analyze them critically.
To be able to discuss important issues and develop crucial vocabulary concerning both the theoretical and methodological aspects of genre analysis.
