- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students not only with fundamental knowledge in the field of management and organizational behavior but also to systematically develop skills necessary for effective performance of managerial functions and the ability to creatively and efficiently work with human potential within an organization. Students will gain deeper insights into organizational processes and individual and group behaviors in diverse contexts.
There will also be a focus on technological development to provide students with an awareness of technology's impact on the modern organizational environment, including digital transformation, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning. This includes understanding the challenges and opportunities brought about by digitalization within organizational management.
Additionally, students will be introduced to ethical considerations in management and organizational behavior. The course will include discussions on responsible management, ethical dilemmas in managerial practice, and how ethics influence decision-making, motivation, and interactions within organizations. Students will be encouraged to reflect on the ethical aspects of their future roles in managerial environments and to understand the importance of ethical standards for sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
This endeavor towards comprehensive understanding encompasses acquiring knowledge and skills in organizational structure, culture, planning, decision-making, organizing, coordinating, leading, motivating, communicating, and controlling, with technological development and ethical management being integral components of the modern managerial landscape. - Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
Analyze and evaluate organizational structures within specific organizational environments, proposing potential changes to achieve effectiveness and agility, incorporating technological advancements and ethical considerations.
Contribute to the development of a positive organizational culture by identifying factors influencing culture and proposing strategies to support a healthy work atmosphere, integrating technological advancements and ethical principles.
Plan and make decisions based on organizational strategic goals, including the ability to identify key factors influencing successful strategic actions, taking into account technological advancements and ethical implications.
Efficiently coordinate activities within the organization, including collaboration and team management to achieve common goals, leveraging technological tools and adhering to ethical guidelines.
Motivate, inspire, and effectively lead people, emphasizing individual and group potential, while considering the impact of technology and ethical leadership.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, emphasizing efficient communication, active listening, and conflict resolution, leveraging technological platforms ethically.
Evaluate outcomes and effectively monitor and control processes within the organization, with the ability to make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal performance, considering technological advancements and ethical standards.
