Course objectives
Course Objectives:
- to define the essence of the administrative procedure and to distinguish it from other procedural procedures, which are also generally regulated in the Administrative Code,
- to provide a general overview of the conduct and course of administrative proceedings as well as other procedural procedures, including the possibility of defense and protection in the event of misconduct by administrative authorities
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:
- perceive and approach the essence of not only administrative proceedings but also other procedural procedures under the Administrative Code and understand their difference and interrelations,
- orient themselves in the framework of the conduct and course of administrative proceedings and its key institutes, as well as in other procedural procedures under the Administrative Procedure Code,
- apply the appropriate form of defense and protection against both inaction and unlawful outcomes of administrative authorities, not only in administrative proceedings but also in cases of other procedures under the Administrative Procedure Code
Syllabus
  • - Administrative Procedure Code and administrative proceedings (general institutes of administrative proceedings; grounds for issuing a decision; parties and their procedural rights; time limits for issuing an administrative decision and its formalities),
  • - other acts under Part IV of the Administrative Procedure Code (including the regulation of binding opinions),
  • - public law contracts,
  • - measures of a general nature.
