Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explein the basic problems and methods of classical mechanics and molecular physic including description of the motion and dynamics of particles using laws of motion; evaluate acquired knowledge with respect to the scientific approach to their utilization; understand and utilize basic principles of hydrostatics and hydrodynamics in living or non-living systéms; understand structure of solids, understand the practical applications of thermodynamics, as well as, their importance for studying fundamentals properties of living systéms; understand the differences between living and non-living matter with respect to physics.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to explain individually general principles and laws of physics. He/she will be able also to explain some specific phenomena based on this knowledge in non-animated as well as living systems. The students will also know the effects of physical factors on living systems.
