Course objectives
Special didactics represents a completion of the pedagogical and psychological education and prepares the students for successful command of pedagogical practice. Didactics is a continuation of the general pedagogical subjects; however, it is concerned with specific problems of instruction in courses devoted to the theme of Human Nutrition. At the end of the course students should be able to apply educational and learning theories including health promotion strategies.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to apply educational theories, including strategies to promote health.
Syllabus
  • The class practices contain the following main topics: Preparation of the teacher for instruction in courses with nutrition-related content on various degrees and types of schools. Didactic analysis of the curriculum. Application of teaching methods including the training of activation methods. Practical methodical suggestions for classes with nutrition-related curricula.
