Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the concept of manipulation of cells and tissues in conditions outside the body. To explain the basic principles, technological elements and necessary instrumentation. To show by examples the different aspects of in vitro culture.
Learning outcomes
The graduate of the course will:
- understand all biological, chemical and instrumental aspects of in vitro cell and tissue culture.
- Based on this knowledge, the student will be able to design culture conditions and assess the condition of in vitro cultured cells.
