Course objectives
This subject is dedicated to study of passive and active movement apparatus. Students learn on the human skeletal or fixed materials with anatomical terminology and describe particular bones, joints and muscles of human body. We require knowledges of detail description of all bones. Intimate knowledges of the joints (like joint surface, capsule, type of the joint, movement) are required just in big joints. Intimate knowledges (like beginning, insertion, inervation and function) are required in head and neck muscles. Part of the subject is tuition of X-ray description.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the study. General osteology. Radiological anatomy. 2. Skeleton of the spine and thorax. 3. Skeleton of the upper and lower extremity. 4. Neurocranium 5. Splanchnocranium 6. Cavities of the skull. 7. Joints of the spine, thorax and skull. 8. Joints of the upper extremity. 9. Joints of the lower extremity. 10. Control examination (osteology, arthrology). 11. Muscles of the skull, neck, thorax, abdomen and back. 12. Muscles of the upper and lower extremity.
