- Objective of the course At the end of the course the student is able - to define the the basic psychic functions - to understand the disturbance od the basic psychic functions - to describe the manifestation of the most common psychiatric disorders

- Introduction to psychiatry, history of psychiatry, classification of mental disorders. Examination methods in psychiatry; biological treatment methods and the foundations of pharmacotherapy. Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and delusional disorder with - etiology, diagnosis, therapy. Mood disorders, affective disorders - etiology, diagnosis, therapy. Neurotic, stress-related disorders - etiology, diagnosis, therapy. Eating Disorders - etiology, diagnosis therapy. Personality and behavior among adults - etiology, diagnosis, therapy. Pedopsychiatry
