Essential knowledge of theory in modern medicine, anathomy and physiology of the skin, skin barriere and skin immunology and basic of topical therapy. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to give a actual theoretic base and recent clinical knowledge to chosen problems in dermatovenereology. Special attendance is given to problems of protective functions of the skin realised by different skin barrier systems, skin immunology, teoretical base of light interactions with the skin, phototherapy indications and contraindications, basic allergic reaction and different types of topical treatment. Cancers of the skin, ulcers of the skin, drug eruptions, modern approaches to psoriasis treatment, steroids in topical treatment and autoimmune bullous diseases.
- Learning outcomes
- Student has solid knowledge of dermatovenereology, both in theoretical and practical aspects, the ability to interpret pathological skin findings, differential diagnose in skin and venereal diseases and proposal of investigation and therapy.

- Ist Day: Skin Cancers. Problems in Venereology.
- IInd Day: Differential Diagnosis of Leg Ulcers. Drug Eruptions.
- IIIrd Day: Differential Diagnosis of Eczema. New Approaches of Psoriasis Treatment.
- IVth Day: Autoimmune Bullous Dermatoses. Corticosteroids in Topical Treatment.
