- Course objectives
- The course practices and deepens the syntactic structures discussed in the lecture SY2. At the end of the course, students are able to: regain a contrastive view at a French sentence; realize differences and unity between Czech and French; determinate types of syntax relations in a sentence (syntactic structures in oral communication) and new trends in French grammar.

- 1. Conditional clause. 2. Comparative clause. 3. Causal clause. 4. Time clause. 5. Participle and its using in French syntax. 6. Valencial relationships of subordinate sentences. 7. Final clause. 8. Consecutive clause. 9. Concessive clause. 10. Direct and indirect speech. 11. Word ordre in French sentence. 12. Punctuation, differences between Czech and French.
