- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- On the basis of individual or group excursions to selected facilities, students will get a basic overview of the activities (social, leisure and educational) that are specific to the related target groups. • The main objective of this course is to introduce students to various types of educational institutions. These institutions and organisations offer the possibility of practice or future employment for the educators in training.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students will be able to: • - understand the basic terminology of the subject • - apply the new knowledge and skills in practice • - recognise the mission of the given facility • - discern the nature of the target groups • - describe the specific methods of education and work used in any particular facility • - integrate the experiences from the visited facilities for further personal and professional motivation
- Syllabus
- On the teacher´s instructions, students will attend appropriate institutions/ organisations. There will be group excursions to schools, NGOs or governmental institutions, both formal and informal forms of education. Students will get an insight into: • • 1. Everyday reality of the institution • 2. Requirements and duties of employees • 3. Facility organisation and management • 4. Specific working methods
