Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to:;
1) - know, understand and explain the basic characteristics and uses of rocks and minerals for the 1st model.;
2) - the use of information science inanimate nature (mineralogy, geology, pedology, meteorology for teaching by RVP ZV) to understand the principles of classification of organisms according to the basic conditions of life, their use and impact on human health.;
3) present reasoned decisions for growing indoor plants, for the 1st model Wed Elementary schools, having regard to their effects on health and use in practice;
4) create a seminar group work "phenological and meteorological calendar, portfolio of work;
5) based on acquired knowledge and the unknown relation derived from the basic knowledge of life sciences and non-living nature and society to understand the basic patterns of existence of life on Earth and the importance of knowledge for life and human health, nature and society and for practical use in personal life, for basic education for ink and UR;
The aim of this subject is unification of basic knowledge about organic and inorganic nature. Expansion of knowledge base, skill development and attitude change in geology, applied ecology and cultivation.

Teaching methods
Method is practical exercises in the classroom and off-road work. Group projects,class discussion, homeworks, presentations by professionals in the sectors. Active participation on lessons. For successfull ending of this subject is necessary active participation on lessons.

Group projects,class discussion, homeworks, active participation on lessons. For successfull ending of this subject is necessary active participation on lessons (80%), seminar work and successfuly mastered identification and written parts of final test (75%). Seminar work, portfolio assessment.
