Course objectives
The objective of this subject are basic aspect of the word, its function in the ambit of the language system, its status and functions in the particular stylistic level. The basic theoretic lexical and stylistic analysis of the text is the part of the lecture. The emphasis is placed especially on the reciprocal correlation, on the word and its function in different stylistical levels.
Syllabus
  • 1. Stylistic, its subject and contents. History of evolution. 2. Functionalstyles. Their distinction from the lexical, phonetical, morphological and syntactical point of view. 3. Science functional style. Its particularities. 4. Office functional style. Its particularities in the Russian language. 5. Publicistic functional style. Actual changes and style dislocations. 6. Colloquial functional style. 7. Artistic functional style.
