Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- interpret the term "juggling"; to classify juggling within the system of sports-movement psychomotor activities
- learn basic juggling skills with 3 balls and other juggling props
- understand and apply practically methodological principles of juggling
- apply juggling activities (including individual, pair and group activities) in his/her practical work for target group with specific needs
-present basic juggling skills with 3 balls and other juggling props
-realize a public performance with juggling features
Syllabus
  • - Introduction to basic juggling props (balls, clubs, scarves, plates, diabolo, rings, flower-sticks)
  • - training of juggling technique with three balls ( according to individual skills with more) including the basic tricks and patterns - juggling in pairs, in a group
  • - connetion of juggling with movement
  • - work with juggling props, understanding and represenatation of a juggling prop
  • - presentation of juggling – movement skills

Assessment methods
Active participation in lessons (80 % attendance).
Juggling presentation of at least 3 tricks with 3 balls (movement, clown, mime performance, with or without music accompaniment, lasting 3-10 minutes). It is possible to perform individually or in pairs.
