- Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in Russian Language and Literature (programme PdF, B-SPE)
- Course objectives
- The course is focused on acquiring basic communicative skills through dialogue, discussions and debates in the conversation topics. A fundamental component of the course is to improve speaking a phonetic, lexical and grammatical. Students concurrently develop their language skills in listening and reading Russian texts. Writing is regularly practiced and reviewed in a number of partial scripts. The main task is to mastery the students ability to separate oral and written expression.

- 29th-35th lesson - Russian not only for self-learning. Topics: 1) What do the stars speak about people? 2) An autobiography. 3) No pain, no gain. 4) Money. 5) Man and nature. 6) Do you read today's newspapers? 7) The Nobel prizes.

- Teaching methods
- Regular activ participation in the class. Listening in russian language. Reading russian texts and correct pronunciation.
- Assessment methods
- Written and oral testing. Attendance 80% (tolerate two outs). Written test - aimed at taught Grammar and vocabulary (curriculum entire semester). After successfully completing a written test, students must pass the oral part of the credit: the reading (Russian book - 180- 200 p., student will bring and show the book), and listening (audio, video, DVD). Student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least sixty new words. Evaluated for grammatical accuracy, content and use of vocabulary, pronunciation and intonation structure.
