Prerequisites
Psychopedy content knowledge in the area of ​​bachelor state examinations. Knowledge of the basic terminology of the field of anatomy and function of the human body at the high school level. Listeners will have the course syllabus and will be acquainted to study literature, including electronic information resources. Listeners can ask questions, comments, suggestions. According to their complaints, the teacher focuses on the more difficult or current topics. In the event that students in the program select none topic, teachers will systematically discuss the difficult and important parts of the curriculum that are essential for their further specialization.

The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to learn the terminology current concept in education of persons with mental impairments, insights and possibilities of special education diagnostics system of education of pupils with mild mental disabilities, including inclusive education. Student gets an idea of the problems of pathological addiction, get acquainted with the model of addiction, its symptoms, treatments and prevention in the school and outside the school environment. Obtain information about common groups of habit-forming substantions and addictive behavior, learn the basics of providing first aid for intoxication by drugs.

  • Education of pupils with mild mental disabilities: 1. Education of persons with mild mental disabilities, terminology bases. 2. Legislation relating to school education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 3. A circuit pupils with mild mental disabilities (specifics of personality, cognitive processes, variability developmental traits). 4. Consulting services for pupils with mild mental disabilities. 5. Pre-school education. Framework educational program for preschool education. 6. Basic School. Framework educational program for basic education. 7. Special education diagnostics. 8. Didactic principles, methods, forms and means of education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 9. Position therapies in the education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 10.Career and lifelong education for people with mild mental. Job opportunities for persons with mental disabilities. Addictology 1: 1. Basic terminology in addictology and drug epidemiology. 2. The history of drug use. 3. Effects contributing to the formation of drug addiction, bio-psycho-social model. 4. Warning signs of incipient drug addiction. 5. Phase of development of dependency. 6. Most important groups and representatives of addictive substances. 7. Virtual drugs and other forms of potentially addictive behavior. 8. First aid for suspected drug use. 9. Social and individual hazards of drug addiction. 10.Prevention of addiction in the school environment. 11.Prevention of addiction in out-of-school environment (family, leisure) .

The seminar, group work, essay, active participation. Further information (current version circles, literature requests, etc.) will be communicated to the teacher at the beginning of the course.
Assessment methods
1. Active attendance at seminars with   80% attendance is compulsory. 2. Written exam of Education pupils with mental disabilities area. To fulfillment the requirements is necessary 70% correct answers. 3. The written exam of Addictology area. To fulfillment the requirements is necessary 70% correct answers.
