- Course objectives
- Annotation:
The aim of the course is to obtain the knowledges about the topic arranged transportation for the prevention (pupils) and at university level. The emphasis is the logical structure of this discipline and to acquire knowledge and skills needed to teach courses focused on transport in the knowledge that pupils secondary schools are the future drivers of motor vehicles. In this context, attention is paid, selected provisions of the Act on the Road. The course also focuses on practical work as teachers escort students during transfers (in traffic) as part of school events. Do lectures are included activation method of discussion, simple case studies, practical solutions to cases like the traffic court.
Objectives: Knowledge: A comprehensive overview of the knowledges about the topic of transportation in relation to the road safety education and an emphasis on the relationship of the subject matter to human health, experience, nature, home, technology, etc. Skills: Being able to characterize current transport problems in connection with selected provisions of the road. Conducted sufficient analysis of specific risk factors. Knowing the possibilities of prevention in the field of transport and related subject matter for practical applications. Prove to safely move to the formation of students in the traffic environment. Able to create practical suggestions for teaching subjects in secondary schools focused on traffic or prevention in this area (eg. Integration subject to minimum prevention program). Attitude: To learn the value of health education, prevention of injuries and deaths on the roads. Deepen the values of ethical behavior and responsibility towards themselves and others. Further deepen the values to environmental protection. - Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Fundamental rules of the thematic area I and II
- Identify and characterize risk factors in transport related to the subject of learning.
- Focus on possible preventive practices by the school in accordance with valid legislation. > - Is able to apply this topic adequately to his subjects in transport subjects.
- Is able to incorporate this topic into the minimum prevention program. - Syllabus
- The syllabus of lectures (after weeks or blocks): I. Selected Provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Walker first as part of the traffic environment, walker with disabilities in the traffic environment. Cyclist second as part of the traffic environment. 3. Movement department of pedestrians and cyclists in the group. 4. Movement of skiing, skating etc. In connection with the traffic environment. 5. Assistance in place of the traffic event. II. The behavior in the traffic 1. Violence in the traffic environment. 2. The protecting of the environment in connection with transport. 3. Examples of risk behavior of children and youth in transport. 4. Possible preventive practices by school pupils against risky behavior in traffic (in accordance with applicable legislation). 5. Creation Preparation for teaching in the subject focused on transport. Making proposals for actions for minimum prevention program secondary schools. Planning for the transfer of pupils as a unit at events organized by the school.

Selected Provisions of the Law on Road Traffic 1.Pedestrian as part of the traffic environment. 2.Cyclist as part of the traffic environment. 3. Movement department of pedestrians, cyclists in the group. 4. Movement on skis, skates, etc. In connection with the traffic environment. 5. Using the on-site events in transport. II. The behavior in the traffic 1. The violence in the traffic environment. 2. The protection of the environment in connection with transport. 3. Examples of the risk behavior of children and youth in transport. 4. The possible preventive procedures by the school against risky behavior in traffic (in accordance with applicable legislation). 5. The production of the preparation for teaching in the subject focused on transport. Making proposals for actions for minimum prevention program secondary schools.

- After the completing of the course, the students should know and would be able to:

Identify and characterize risk factors in transport related subject teaching.
To understand the possible preventive procedures by the school in accordance with current legislation.
Is capable of this issue adequately apply its lessons in subjects with problems of transport.
Is able to incorporate this theme into the minimum prevention program.
