- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to extend basic knowledge of the syntax of Russian literary language at comparative Russian-Czech point of view. At the end of this course student will be able to describe the Russian syntactic system; to compare the syntactic system of Russian and Czech languages; to apply knowledge practically.

- Compound and Complex sentences. General characteristics. Compound sentence. Classification. Complex sentence. Classification. Asyndetical sentence. Sentences with different types of syntactic connection.
