Course objectives
The aim of the subject is theoretical questions connected with receptive and productive speech skills. Part of lectures is the methodology of practice of phonetics, graphics, lexicon, reading, listening, oral and written expression. Students will learn to apply theoretical methodological knowledge to the practical teaching process. An integral part is preparation for pedagogical practice, interconnection of theoretical knowledge with practical use in the teaching process. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement in practice various methodological procedures and activities in teaching Russian at primary schools.
Students will learn strategies and activities for teaching correct pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Students will be acquainted with a number of methodical procedures and strategies for listening and oral practice in Russian lessons. Students will be informed about specific activities for teaching Russian in pupils with specific educational needs. The student will be able to apply this knowledge in teaching Russian within his / her own micro-approaches in teaching. The students will discuss the problems of the current teacher's profession, the specific needs of the pupils. In group activity, students propose a methodological approach in specific cases solved by teachers.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement in practice various methodological practices and activities in Russian language teaching at elementary schools. Students will learn strategies and activities for teaching correct pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. The student will be able to apply this knowledge in teaching Russian.

Teacher's information
In the seminar part of the course, students will apply the theoretical knowledge gained in the practical preparation of the Russian lesson. In the framework of micro-entry, students will practice individual methodologies according to the teacher's assignment. These outputs will then be analyzed by all students with possible suggestions for further methodological approaches.
