Course objectives
The basic course in measurement, the subject introduces students to the basics of a legal, fundamental metrology and fundamental principles of measurement with emphasis on practical aspects of control of dimensions and geometric quantities. Application of ISO standards in metrology. Processing of measured values. Overview of measurement and control means and methods in engineering metrology, especially in the area of geometric quantities. The issue of coordinate measurement and metrological support of computer processes. The measurement of dimensions and geometric variables
Syllabus
  • Překlad (česky > anglicky) Content focus: 1st Role in engineering metrology, legal metrology. 2nd Fundamentals of quality management and the requirements for establishing instruments. 3rd Testing Laboratory. 4th Calibration of instruments. 5th Uncertainty of measurement and expression. 6th Measurement engineering firm, general requirements. 7th Measurements and measurement devices. 8th Basic methods of checking. 9th Lengths are measured using absolute and comparative measurement devices. 10th Checking the threads. 11th Checking gauges. 12th Check angles. 13th Check gear and gauges. 14th Control surface, a special measurement. 15th Coordinate Measuring Machines.
