- Course objectives
- The course objective is to get students oriented in the shift in values in literature for young adults after 1989. The main attention will be paid to the problematic nature of commercialization of a part of the production in the field of literature for children and young adults and to oother pressing topics. Students will be able to identify and analyse the style of outstanding personalities of literature for young adults in the literary process of the given period.

- The problems of commercialization of a part of the production in the field of literature for children and young. Question of the shift in values in the field of literature for choldren and youth. Analysis of childrens reading.

- Teaching methods
- In the form of a seminar, students will get a broader knowledge of literature for young adults in the given period. They will be able to identify and analyze the style of outstanding personalities. They will further develop their literary knowledge and interpretational skills with the aim to communicate with a literary work more effectively. They will creatively use their knowledge gained not only in contact classes but also in their individual study of recommended literature which they will be able to discuss regularly with their teacher.
