Course objectives
After this course students should be able to apply the printed and written form of Russian alphabet and operate pronunciation and intonation correctly. They should also recognize the written and spoken Russian text and operate the basic knowledge of Russian language.
Syllabus
  • 1.-5. the Russian present textbooks, Lesson 1. part. The introductory part of the-pronunciation and writing in Cyrillic, students work independently, it is possible to take the introductory course where this RJ, subject matter discussed. Teaching methods
Students work up homework and within an individual work they elaborate lexical excercises and essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts.
Assessment methods
Seminar: Written test based on the topics taught in the class. If the student reaches the pass mark in the written test, a discussion with the teacher will be held. The discussion will be based on the topics from the course, the reading (Russian book – 30 - 50 p.), the student will bring and show the book, and listening (audio, video, DVD). The correct grammar, content,vocabulary used, as well as pronunciation and intonation will be evaluated. The student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least fifty new words.

The course is taught annually.
General note: Pokud se přihlásí méně než 10 studentů, výuka se nebude konat. Studenti mohou chodit do odpovídajících předmětů katedry ruského jazyka a literatury.
