- Course objectives
- This course is designed to improve the fluency of students' writing. Students will be introduced to the process of writing and be guided through the basic steps. The writing will take place in different genres, with information about writing for different subjects.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing this course, students will :
- use formal English in writing
- demonstrate knowledge of editing and revision techniques
- understand the connection between writing and thinking and use writing and reading for inquiry, learning and thinking
- acquire research skills, they will be able to integrate their own ideas with those of others, and apply the conventions of citation correctly - Syllabus
