Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to acquire knowledge in the field of prevention of safety in the school environment and lay first aid and to acquire the skills of students to provide basic treatment and lay first aid for acute and chronic diseases and injuries. The aim of the course is to prepare the participant/participant to theoretically and practically master the issues of human protection in emergencies and lay first aid and to be able to didactically transform it into teaching in primary schools.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to: - theoretically and practically master first aid - react in case of crisis and emergency situation - provide adequate first aid - take care of their own safety and be aware of the risks associated with first aid - anchor the topic of safety in the school environment according to the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education.
Syllabus
  • Block 1: Preventive health care, safe behaviour in different life situations and different means of transport, including emergencies that threaten the health of individuals and entire populations; personal safety of students - how to behave towards each other, health risks during games and extracurricular activities. Block 2: E-safety. Block 3: First Aid: PP standards for lay people. Types of medical first aid; basic types of medical triage; injury prevention (in sports and leisure activities, in transport and in the field, link to age specificities of children). Analysis of the trauma plan of primary school. Block 4 - 7: Selected conditions of PP: unconsciousness and resuscitation, aspiration of foreign body, non-traumatic emergencies, internal and external bleeding, poisoning and poisoning, thermal injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, spinal injuries. Block 8: Basics of medical documentation, rights and responsibilities of recovery medical professionals. Pandemic plan. IHR. Public health protection, basics of hygiene and anti-epidemic measures. Block 9: Basics of psychological first aid, management of crowd psychosis. Portals to teach first aid and safety. Block 10: First aid training - repetition (attendance teaching).
