Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop students the ability to stylize the accompaniment of folk or faux songs with chord symbols in a way that corresponds with the character of the melodic line and features the song. From the beginning, emphasis is placed on the fact that one and the same melody it is possible to accompany in a different way. The aim is that the student can play two piano pieces of his own choice and in accordance with his technical level. At the end of the course students should be able to use a system of skills and habits in the singing technique and to understand the methodological foundations for their educational experience to work with voices of children and adults.
