- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The purpose of the course is to provide students with basic information about the interdisciplinary nature of integration processes in education and society, the role of the biopsychosocial approach, and the essence of socio-pedagogical support for inclusion. The methods of optimizing the socio-educational environment, development of the teacher's inclusive competence will be determined. Students will learn about the challenges of wartime inclusion and practical aspects of supporting students with special educational needs caused by the war.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to: contribute to the optimization of the social and educational environment of students with SEN based on taking into account their biopsychosocial characteristics; coordinate the interdisciplinary interaction of specialists in the process of socio-pedagogical support of inclusion; overcome the stereotypes of public perception and increase one's own inclusive competence; support students who have psychological or physical injuries caused by the war.

- Interdisciplinarity of integration processes in education and society. Inclusive education from the perspective of biopsychosocial approach. The essence of socio-pedagogical support of inclusion. Social and educational environment. Inclusive competence of teachers. Parents as stakeholders of inclusive education. Development of inclusive trends in Ukrainian education and society. Social and pedagogical challenges and innovations of wartime inclusion. Applied aspects of inclusion of students who have psychological or physical injuries caused by war.

I have extensive practical experience as a school social pedagogue, as well as experience in social and scientific-pedagogical activities related to the creation of conditions for the integration of people with special educational needs into society. Since April 2022, I have also been working at the Department of Special and Inclusive Pedagogy at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic).
