Course objectives
The goal of the diploma seminar is to assist the student in completing the degree thesis and prepare for its successful defence. This timetable for the consultations is arranged on an individual basis.
Learning outcomes
The course makes the students familiar with basic principles of an independent theoretical work with professional literature within the scope of the degree thesis. Students will learn to consult and present their work with the seminar facilitator, thesis supervisor and experts. They also learn to lay their professional focus on issues recommended by experts.
Syllabus
  • Individual student consultations with the thesis advisor, which take place in compliance with the needs of the student and with regard to the quality and completeness of the work. The master's thesis addresses a scholarly issue at a level appropriate to the degree being pursued. In the degree thesis the student must demonstrate the ability to work independently in keeping with academic standards, the knowledge and understanding of the relevant scholarly literature and the ability to analyse the issue under study.

  • Further literature for the diploma thesis seminar is assigned on an individual basis based on the topic of the thesis. | (in Czech) Literatura pro diplomový seminář je předepsána individuálně podle tématu práce.
